About the Project Area

The Midwest Continental Divide Study Area centers on the western portion of St Joseph County, including portions of the City of South Bend, North Liberty, Lakeville, Crumstown, and Lydick, with close proximity to New Carlisle, LaPorte County, and the Michigan border.

The vision will include and connect to key natural and cultural destinations, including Potato Creek State Park, the Chain of Lakes, the Kankakee River and Dixon Ditch, Four Winds Casino, Indiana Dinosaur Museum, Lydick Bog, and much more!
